Before I go into all the wonderful things about capturing you and pampering you during your dream maternity photography session, I want to share a story with you that my client shared with me ... because it melted my heart.

I recently met up with one of my VIP clients, who already has had 5 photography sessions with us. I did her maternity session for her while she was pregnant with her beautiful little girl who is now 2 years old. We organised a big beautiful oil painting style portrait of her favourite maternity image to hang on her wall. Her little girl gets to see a beautiful portrait at home every day which is amazing. But it's what her daughter says to her about it that melts my heart.... she asks is that me in your tummy mummy? and when her mum answers yes, that was you in my tummy... her daughter tells her how beautiful and happy she looks with her in her tummy.

How amazing is that? What would it mean to you and your child to see you beautiful and happy bringing them into the world. It is beautiful and special to have portraits taken after your baby is born.... but there is something incredibly powerful for your child to see you glowing, beautiful and happy with them still growing in your tummy.

When I first started photographing maternity portraits, it was with the idea of spoiling you, and showing you how beautiful and amazing you are at this stage in your life. It never even crossed my mind the impact these images would have on your children as they grow up.

We do everything for our children to see them happy.... but the most important things that truly touch their hearts, is to feel loved by you AND to see you happy with them!

So yes, absolutely do a maternity shoot to celebrate your incredible life creating body, your beauty and your pregnancy glow. Absolutely do it because you deserve something to be a little bit about you... because after being sore, tired and swollen and you just need a break to feel amazing again.

But also do it to show your children how much your loved them even before they were born, and how happy they already made you even before you met them.
ABOUT YOUR LUXURY MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT
Maternity Photography sessions with Imagini are best book at least 3 months before your due date. This is to ensure your date before we are booked out. The best time for maternity sessions is between 30-32 weeks. This is when your bump is showing and its still safe if baby arrives early.

All Maternity Photography sessions take place in our Smithfield studios, located in Western Sydney. We are only 30 minutes away from most areas, including Parramatta, Fairfield, Cabramatta, and most of the greater Sydney area.
